  1. Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges.

MG Road is the main and very important road in Gangtok.  It attracts tourists from all over the year.  Therefore, this route is filled with cello at all times.  After such a rush, care is taken very much here, this is a garbage free lane.  Garbage is not allowed in the MG Road and no vehicles are allowed.

 There are lots of attractions in this lane.  This is a perfect place to shop in rows of interesting shops on either side of this charming lane.  There is a park named Titanic on this road.  Where tourists can sit comfortably and talk.  You can listen to music while relaxing.  Tourists experience joy here.

2. Nathula Pass

Nathula Pass is the border of the international Indo-China border.  It is about 55 kilometers from the city of Gangtok, the capital of the Indian state of Sikkim, only Indian citizens can visit this pass.  And for this also they have to get a permit (pass) from the Gangtok administration.  Which is easily available to the Indian citizen.  Nathula Pass is the boundary of India-China. Nathula Pass we can see the soldiers of India and China on the border together. Foreign tourists are not allowed in this place.

3. Hanuman Tok

Hanuman Tok is an ancient and very famous Hanuman temple of Gangtok.  Hanuman Tok Temple is looked after by the Indian Army.  This temple is located on Kanchenjunga, the world’s third highest peak.  Located at an altitude of 7,200 feet, this temple is considered to be the holy and the most serene temple for worship.
 You can take your own private vehicle to Hanuman Tok and the tourists visiting this road can enjoy the beauty of this place.  If you want to see the sunrise from Hanuman Tok, then you have to reach here early in the morning.  Sunrise is very special here.  After seeing this, you will have the possibility of a separate Anand.  Hanuman Tok’s peace attracts your mind immensely.

4. Rumket Monastery

If you come to visit Gangtok and do not visit Rumtek monastery, you will miss a lot.  Rumtek Monastery is 300 years old, located 24 kilometers from Gangtok.  Rumtek monastery is the oldest monastery in Sikkim.  The monastery was rebuilt during the year 1960.  A school and meditation place are also located in the premises of this monastery.  In this monastery, items and information related to the valuable Thanga painting, Kagupa sect of Buddhism have been preserved.

5. Banjakra Waterfall
