All the Places mention in the list have less or no Covid patient for more info you can visit https://www.covid19india.org/
The first on my list is the beautiful tiny state of Sikkim.
Sikkim is located in the northeast region of India. It is situated in the eastern Himalayas and its one of the most beautiful states of India. I have personally visited there in 2018 and been to Pelling, Gangtok, Yuksom, and visited many beautiful monasteries. Waking up with the sight of the Mighty Kanchenjunga was an experience I will never forget. Kanchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world, and also considered to be the guardian deity of Sikkim. It dominates this very tiny Himalayan state with its majesty and awe-inspiring beauty. Sikkim is full of snowy mountains, extravagant forests with very exotic flora and fauna, hot springs, waterfalls, holy caves and sacred lakes. It is a destination for all seasons but the best time to visit Sikkim is between March and May or October and Mid-December. Starting December it starts getting colder so do not forget to carry your woollens.
The second on my list is Mahabaleshwar
Mahabaleshwar is a very tiny hill station which is very close to major cities like Mumbai and Pune, it’s a 4-5 hours-drive and can be reached easily from Mumbai or Pune. The ideal time to visit Mahabaleshwar is between December to February when the mercury dips down to around 15 degrees Celsius. it’s the strawberry season and you can enjoy the berries directly from the farm. Its chilly at nights but afternoons are good for a walk in the forests or a stroll by the lake. If you love the rains you must visit mahabaleshwar between July and September. The views are breath taking and the fog makes it all the more fun.
The next place on my list is Goa.
Who has not heard about Goa? Goa is a perfect blend of Portuguese and India culture. Goa is full of sun, sand, seafood and spices. It is India’s Paradise. Each beach community in Goa has its own personality be it the palm filled Palolem, the rough Baga, the backpackers Arambol, market life at Anjuna, every tropical whim is fulfilled here. There are many hidden coves here where all you will leave behind are your footprints. Food is enjoyed in Goa as much as it is enjoyed all over India. When in Goa do not miss the Goan specialty Vindaloo. Between November to February is best time to Visit Goa .
The next place Nagaland is a hidden paradise.
Nagaland is a small state in India, which lies in the northeastern part of the country. The capital of Nagaland is Kohima. Nearly all of Nagaland is mountainous. Nagaland has many tropical and sub tropical forests which are paradise for birds watching and wild life spotting. You can find many animals such-as elephants, tigers, leopards, bears, monkeys, deers, rhinoceros that live in the lower hills-and a lot more. The people living in Nagaland are called the Naga Tribes. They don’t have their own language and speak many dialects. English is the official language of the state. The best time to visit Nagaland is between November and January. Snow is not common in Nagaland, but there might be an occasional snowfall in a few areas so please check before you plan your travel.
The final destination in this list is Ooty
Its the gem of South India and its official name is Udhagamandalam, but its best known as Ooty. Its located 100 kms from Coimbatore city, which also has the nearest airport to Ooty. It is covered with Eucalyptus and pine trees and full of tea and coffee plantations. The botanical gardens of ooty are a must visit.A walk in the famous pine forests of Ooty is a memory you will never forget. You can also visit the famous tea factory and indulge in some tea tasting. The weather in Ooty is cool throughout the year. The best time to visit will be after the rains in October as the pristine waterfalls all over Ooty will be brimming with beauty especially the magnificent Pykara waterfalls.
